Forced by the circumstances, Mohammed had to pull his daughter out of school. But fate had different plans for the little girl. It was a pure stroke of luck when Zarina, Mohammeds wife, participated in Lux Chennai Express Contest and was declared the winner. When Zarina met Shahrukh, she mentioned the difficult times her family was going through. King Khan called her backstage and offered to sponsor the girl's education. Sush stopped the car immediately, administered first aid on the victims and had them taken to the nearby hospital in her own car. After the dogs broken leg was bandaged, Asin left the dog in the care of her driver, who promised to take good care of the dog until it was well and fine.
Recently, Priyanka Chopra graciously returned a cheque of whooping 18 lakh rupees to her producer KC Bokadia, who was going through distressed times. Recalling the incident, Bokadia said, "I couldn't believe my eyes when the cheque was returned to me. I had sent Priyanka a cheque for Rs 18 lakh, which I owed her. She refused to take it."
