What precisely is the point of having an army of stylists and A-list designers at your beck and call if they let you step out looking like this?
While our B-town celebrities are great at a variety of things, they sure don’t do monotony well. Whether for the sake of a movie role or just to revamp their presence on the social scene, our celebs love to refresh their looks regularly. And while some manage to get it spot on, others end up on lists like these. Here’s a list of seven celeb makeovers we’re trying to pretend never happened:
We thought that signing Chandni Chowk To China was the singularly most embarrassing moment of Deepika’s Bollywood existence, right up until we got an eyeful of the pseudo Chinese look she sported throughout the movie. Shudder.
Saif Ali Khan
Unlike the rest of us, who are still carrying around the pent up frustration from having spent two and a half hours of our lives on Agent Vinod, Saif’s hairdresser simply took it out on his hair. Voila, a puke colored hairstyle that no bonafide Russian would be caught dead with, zombie apocalypse or not.
Saif Ali Khan
It’s been a few years now, but we still clearly remember those pangs of envy we felt each time Bipasha’s beautiful tresses caught the breeze and flew in a poetic manner in Race. All of which however disappeared fast, when post release Bipasha snipped off her long locks to make way for an awful bob cut that felt at odds against her facial structure. Every last bit of envy, all gone. So thanks again, Bips. We owe you one.
Her Bollywood career was already on the rocks when Rani decided that pairing an awful haircut with clothes two generations too tiny and thunder thighs made for a cool look in Ta Ra Rum Pum.
While she might be an actress par excellence, Heyy Babyy served us all an ample reminder of why it’s dangerous to leave Vidya in the wardrobe section alone without strict adult supervision.
Over the years, PeeCee has carried off a wide variety of looks; however, suffice it to say that this feathered phase is one that even Lady Gaga wouldn’t deign to touch.
As part of his preparation for Dhoom 3, Aamir Khan temporarily sported a reprised version of Saif’s former puke colored hairstyle that made even Uday Chopra look like a Greek God in comparison. Thankfully, the makers came to their senses soon and covered him up with a bowler’s hat instead. Praise be.
