If not make you wince, poke your eyeballs out and lose faith in mankind altogether.
Movies of fore sought refuge behind quaint cinematic cliches when it came to liplocks. And well, it turns it was all for our own good; to safeguard us from the Uday Chopras & the Adhyayan Sumans of the world. For their own safety, here’s a list of seven Bollywood couples who shouldn’t ever be allowed to kiss publicly. Or privately, for that matter:
Kangana Ranaut - Adhyayan Suman, Raaz 2
We wonder why Mahesh Bhatt felt the need to invest at all in special effects to portray demonic spirits, when the entire horror quota of the movie was used up by the sight of Adhyayan Suman gobbling Kangna up whole in what was supposed to pass off as a passionate liplock.

Shah Rukh Khan & Katrina Kaif, Jab Tak Hai Jaan
SRK may have waived his no onscreen kissing rule for Yash Chopra’s swan song, but while Katrina was raring to go after all those rehearsal sessions with the mangoes, SRK merely looked as though he’d more comfortable snuggling up to a grizzly bear instead. Looks like Salman needn’t have worried, after all.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Vivek Oberoi, Kyun Ho Gaya Na
After two excruciating minutes of watching Vivek’s sloppy attempts at kissing in the dud Kyun Ho Gaya Na, we developed with a newfound sympathy for his former girlfriend Aishwarya, who couldn’t ditch him soon enough post its release. Girl, we are totally with you on this one.

Tanishaa Mukherjee & Uday Chopra, Neal ‘n’ Nikki
As though its mere existence wasn’t offensive enough, the movie featured Tanishaa & Uday throwing themselves at each other with all the finesse of a pair of challenged octopuses. Repeatedly. Nargis & Armaan, you have our heartfelt condolences.

Hrithik Roshan & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Dhoom 2
Given their super awkward liplock in the Dhoom sequel, we think the Bachchan clan did us all a favor by throwing a tantrum and demanding that the scene be deleted.
Hrithik and Aishwarya
Karishma Kapoor & Aamir Khan, Raja Hindustani
If our nation has trouble accepting liplocks and passionate kisses, we have Karishma & Aamir to blame - Their two minute kiss for Raja Hindustani was so awkward that it holds the distinction of making John & Abhishek’s onscreen smooch in Dostana look comfortable.

Saif Ali Khan & Diana Penty
Rounding up the list of celebs in dire need of remedial lessons by Emraan Hashmi, Saif & Diana bumped lips in a super uncomfortable manner in Cocktail - The politest explanation for which would be that they were genuinely really afraid that his onscreen girlfriend Deepika would nab them at any moment. Howzzat for method acting?
