Meet the Wonder-Women of Indian Motorsports
Posted On 5th February, 2019 @ 16:55 pm by Riya Poojary

Give them wings and they will fly. Put them behind wheels and they will set the track on fire. This holds true for the superwomen we met at this year’s JK Tyre FMSCI National Racing Championship 2018. An all-women team entering the championship in the LGB Formula 4 category for the first time, has been a big step towards encouraging more and more women to join the world of Motorsports in India.

Ahura Racing is a professional racing team formed in 2017. It’s owned and managed by Three-Time National Champion, Sarosh Hataria. With two decades of racing experience, Sarosh and JK Tyres are keen on getting more women to set foot on the racetrack. Though this is their first-time racing, their grit and determination to get better, holds them at the forefront of changing the Motorsports culture in our country. And we couldn’t be prouder to witness these women kick some serious ass on the wild tracks on Kari Motor Speedway and the Buddh International Circuit while competing against some of the best racers in our country. Take a bow, ladies.

They have a single goal- "We exist to win in everything we do." Meet our fierce and amazing all-female team on JK Tyre MTV #Trackstar3.
