He's only just Human

Salman Khan has finally taken the plunge! Read on to know more:

We all know that some of our older actors are quite out of sorts after inflicting numerous damages upon themselves to keep us entertained. As we all well know, Amitabh Bachchan, faced the worst of it, while shooting the fight sequence for the film Coolie; Shahrukh Khan, another exponent of perfectionism, after all the surgeries has begun cutting down on the stunts; and Akshay Kumar, probably the fitter of the lot, was not immune to the stupidity of one technician, resulting in an almost fatal eye injury.

Truly, our hearty-forty star club is in a rat race with each other and the younger fellows to stay at the top. Although, after many hours of shooting superhuman stunts, each one of our stars likes coming back to reality and just being human, like the rest of us. Similarly, Salman Khan, who for years has been kicking every Tom, Dick and Harry, posing as a bad guy, has now made a decision to kick the butt.

No smoking, no drinking, only long distance walking. He walks from Panchgani (where he is staying) to Wai, where he is shooting for Dabangg 2; once on his way to the shoot and then back home, covering a total distance of 30 kilometers every day. The reasons are all medical; he has been diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a facial nerve disorder that causes shooting pain to the forehead, cheek and jaw. Besides, there is some abnormality in his brain too; unfortunately, getting a surgery would be a risky proposition, lest he falls into coma.

In the meantime, he has put his heart into keeping fit; maybe, you could join him when he participates in the “Run for the Nation” marathon in Delhi, on the 7th of October. It is a cause promoted by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police and they are very proud to have Salman Khan lend his stardom to the event, while the others could not be a part of it.
