So, what are the pros? Well, Mary Kom comes from the north-eastern state of Manipur; unfortunately, the people of the north-east have been victims of political unrest. Today, more so because of the privileges given to the security forces posted in that region; many Assamese feel that they have been exploited, which never gets highlighted in the media.
