Sherlyn Chopra’s photoshoot video for her upcoming flick Kamasutra 3D might have created a record of sorts in the Youtube register, but the 320,000 views that the video garnered included her director Rupesh Paul, who has apparently taken drastic steps to express his disapproval of the video being uploaded without his permission!
“In Kamasutra 3D, we are trying to give an extra dimension to the sexual positions described in the ancient treatise on the art of love.” In that one sentence, director Rupesh Paul succinctly summed up all that Kamasutra 3D has to offer.
Adapting every Indian’s sacred sex manual to the big screen is a task that would have sent lesser mortals scurrying for cover, but Sherlyn Chopra, who holds the distinction of being the only Indian woman bold enough to pose nude for the infamous Playboy magazine, seems tailor-made for the role. However, trouble brewed in paradise when Sherlyn uploaded a video of the photoshoot for the film; a video that director Rupesh Paul claims was uploaded against his express instructions to the contrary.
Word has it that, the makers are looking forward to replace Sherlyn and have already approached several Hollywood A-listers, including Mila Kunis and Eva Longoria. Director Rupesh Paul, who was none too pleased with the video being made accessible so early in the movie, clearly stated, “I was shocked to see the video. While sharing the video, I had specified it’s not for public viewing, but she still went ahead and uploaded it without our permission. We were so upset with her unprofessional behavior that we decided to start considering other heroines. So far, we have shortlisted Eva Longoria or Mila Kunis. Kamasutra is a more popular concept in the West than in India, so it doesn’t matter if the actress is Indian or American.”
Sherlyn Chopra who, however, is busy basking in the reflected glory of the 320,000 views that her Youtube video proudly lists, fails to be perturbed. “I do not regret having uploaded the video. The photoshoot video was not shot for private viewing. There is absolutely no need for me to apologize to Mr. Paul as I am not wrong,” an unfazed Sherlyn replied.
Her fans, on the other hand, were clearly dismayed with the news and took to flooding her timeline with their condolences. To mass approval, the 28 year old model tweeted: “Agar Mr. Paul ko Mila ya Eva ke saath KS 3D banaani hai toh hamey sign kyun kiya???? Tab kya Mila ya Eva ke pass dates nahi they? KS3D photoshoot video ke liye Sherlyn aur KS3D film ke liye koi angrezi abhinetri??? Waah! Kya Baat! Ghar Ki Murgi Daal Barabar Hoti Hai… If KS 3D is destined to be mine…. Then no power on Earth can take it away from me… Best wishes to Mila / Eva / other names on Mr. Paul’s wishlist.”
