What makes a comedian great? The ability to laugh at himself. When they pull out anecdotes from the darkest corners of their lives and turn them around to make us laugh, we assume it’s cathartic for them, and insanely funny to us, because it’s so familiar and relatable.

Biswa Kalyan Rath a.k.a Mast Aadmi, an IIT drop-out himself, obviously went through a lot of stress—first to get admission into those high-funda IIT coaching centers, and then cracking IIT. He’s been there, done that, and so who better than him to tell us what really goes in those factory-like classrooms churning robot, after robot.

While he’s got us laughing our heads off everytime he talks about his time at IIT, Biswa is now presenting the entire story through a web series—Laakhon Mein Ek—ready to stream all its episodes on 13 October.

The series, as one can tell from the trailer, is all about life at the coaching center, where an ocean of students aspiring (let’s just dying) to get into IIT are struggling together, while competing with each other. Looks like the next Friday will really be a FRIYAY!
