The character is a mixture of Michael Corleone and Rajiv Gandhi

Ranbir Kapoor is Harvard educated in Rajneeti. In real life, he won’t even be able to get a degree from Haridwar, but never mind that. His role in the movie is that of an NRI kid returning home to shoulder his mother’s political empire, which basically reminds me of Abhishek Bachchan in two movies – Sarkar and Delhi 6. Will Ranbir be able to do a better American accent than the Small B? Will he be able to play a politician without embarrassing himself? (Since he is linked with ALL of his co-stars) Will he have an affair with Nana Patekar? Only time will tell.
