Facebook comes out with more 'updated' versions of itself than Rakhi Sawant. Little do FB users realise that the current 'updated' version does not show even a tenth of your friends' updates. How else would you know if your friend Chandu has attained a 'Dawood' gangsta level in Mafia Wars? Or if your friend Pinky has found her grandma wandering lost in the fields of Farmville? If you have more than 250 friends, then you have a very good chance of not getting updates from a good number of your friends. The actual capacity being 5000, Facebook has limited updates to only 250 of your friends. The rest can maintain 'real' contact with you. What? Is FB doing an austerity drive too? Someone call Shashi Tharoor! We need our updates, DAMNIT! MTV shows you exactly how to beat the dirty FB Live Feed. It's easy as 1, 2, 3...
1. From your Facebook home page near the top of your news feed you'll see a link that says View Live Feed, click on it.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the link that says Edit Options.
3. An option popup will appear, now change the default setting from 250 to 5000, and click Save.
Still no avail? Clear your cookies and phishing data. That's probably what is clogging up your browser and hence, the FB updates.
Cool? Now get back to snooping on the hot guy/ girl you like...
