Kurbaan has been making news for the sizzling love scenes between Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The film that is based on terrorism also has a lot of violence. Keeping this in mind Kurbaan has been given an 'A' certificate by the censors.

According to media reports, the makers tried their best to get U/A certificate, but the censor board did not budge.

According to reports there was no way the film could avoid an A-certificate. Kurbaan releases on November 20, 2009 and is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
