Intel Centrino presents MTV On the Job 2 this week is back with an exciting episode exploring the nitti- gritties of News Anchoring. Shot in Delhi at the Headlines Today studio, this episode promises to entertain and how!

4 aspiring TV journalists (Shruthi, Kirti, Vaibhav and Harendra) fought it out in teams of two to win the coveted internship at Headlines Today.

Gaurav Sawant, associate editor and news anchor of Headlines Today gave the brief about their task and what is expected of them. He also informs of them about an in-house producer who will be directing them through their task

To present a 3 minute news bulletin (reading off a faulty teleprompter), handling mock breaking news scenarios (talking to the correspondent on field), handling a studio guest, was the task a nutshell. All this of course, with the Producer constantly on their ear piece, directing and interrupting them through their presentation. They were also told that they were going Live on- air which only made matters worse.

Contestants under a great deal of stress and supreme nervousness fumbled and were completely flustered delivering the news and handling the enormity of the task given to them. Although no one would expect a news room scenario to be fertile ground for high comedy, after watching this episode, they might want to change their minds.

Having said that the judges also contributed their bit towards the entertainment value of the show by throwing Godzilla proportions of sarcasm at the contestants while reprimanding them for their errors.
