Welcome to the second season of HTC One SoundTrippin powered by AltoK10 with Sneha Khanwalkar, Karsh Kale & Nucleya. This year instead of just exploring places, they are out to explore different ideas or themes from the perspective of sound and goes to places where the idea takes them. Along the way, they meet people who help them explore the idea further and take the journey from sound to song.

While most of us can only hear the noise in these sounds, they can hear the music.


Karsh Kale:
Described by Billboard Magazine as a 'visionary composer and producer', Karsh Kale is one of global music's brightest stars. In the past 12 years as a solo recording artist, producer, composer, live performer and DJ, Karsh has set the world of electronic fusion on fire and has helped create a brand new genre of music. His body of work has helped an entire scene to emerge in the world of electronica and fusion music. Karsh Kale has also developed a reputation as a genre bending collaborator and a world renowned tabla player and musician, exploring the worlds of electronica, Indian classical music, rock, jazz fusion and hip hop which has led him to work with some of the most renowned artists from around the globe.

Udyan Sagar, the brainchild of Nucleya, started his musical journey towards the end of 1990's when he co-founded Bandish Projekt. Currently based in Delhi, he is obsessing on crazy sounds and creating even crazier ones in his studio all the time. He has released 20 Singles, two studio albums including Bhor & Horn OK Please and numerous collaborations. He has travelled with his sounds to many prestigious festivals and events around the world, like Glastonbury - UK, Edinburgh Fringe Festival - UK, Lille 3000 - France, etc. He recently performed at Electron Festival - Switzerland alongside artists like Diplo and Modeselektor. Udyan is an extremely versatile artist who is just not a musician, but also a music producer and a sound designer.

Karsh's extensive experience in music & his unique ability to bend different genres of music to create something exceptional, coupled with Nucleya's fresh & edgy new sound make them the ideal choice for MTV Sound Trippin.

Contemporary Music Director, Sound Trippin

Sneha Khanwalkar is the rising star in the music arena in India. With her passion for music she moved from her hometown Indore to the city of dreams, Mumbai. Once here, she dabbled with everything for a while. Starting with animation and moving on to art direction Sneha realized one day that music was her true calling and she set foot to pursue her passion from that day onwards.

Sneha's biggest USP is her unique style of making music. For instance, she backpacked across Punjab & Haryana in search of that perfect, authentic Punjabi tune. And once she found it, she proceeded to give it her inimitable, contemporary stamp. Thus were born cult tracks like Superchor, Jugni & Oye Lucky!

She entered Bollywood to make music for people to enjoy the beats of her music. Her debut as a music director was in Ram Gopal Verma’s movie Go. After a successful start, she became a full fledged music director. She bagged the music direction for the hit arty movie Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye! One of the youngest composers in the fraternity, Sneha also scored music for the movie Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2010).

Sneha is one of the youngest music composers in Bollywood and has been part of some remarkable hindi movies.

MTV Sound Trippin promises to uplift your soul with Sneha Khanwalkar who will translate her unique journey – a journey from sound to song, as she enters the laboratory of music to experiment with various sounds from across the country. With this show she demonstrates how the simple pleasures of life are free and often just a sound away.
