Terms & Conditions - Roadies Cheat Code ("Promotion")
  • This Promotion is organized by Viacom 18 Media Limited ("Organizer") and is open to all aspiring Roadies ("Participant").
  • On purchase of the Roadies Cheat Code DVD kit ("Kit"), 100 lucky winners would get "Jump the Q" Card inside the Kit. This card entitles the winner to a direct entry into Round 2 of MTV Roadies ("Prize"). These winners need to text the 4-digit code printed on the "Jump the Q" Card to 56882. An SMS will be sent back to the winner confirming his/ her registration. The winner needs to carry a record of that SMS and the "Jump the Q" card at the audition venue.
  • The losers would get a "Loser Card" which gives the Participant a chance to win some MTV goodies. The losers would have to text the code printed on the Loser card to 56882 and answer a question and 100 lucky losers who gave the right answers would be sent MTV goodies. ("Prize").
  • This promotion shall be effective from 15th August 2008 and shall run till 10th October 2008 or till the end of the Roadies audition, whichever is later.
  • Income tax, gift tax or any other statutory taxes, duties or levies as may be applicable from time to time, arising out of Prize/s, shall be payable by the winner/s of the respective Prize/s. In case the winner fails to comply with the applicable law/s, the Organizer will be entitled to select another winner at their own discretion.
  • The winner/s cannot transfer /redeem his/ her cards for cash. No request shall be entertained by the Organizer in this behalf.
  • Employees of the Organizer and/or their associate and affiliate companies/ concerns will not be qualified for the Promotion.
  • The winners shall be intimated by the Organizer directly. The Organizer shall not entertain any questions, correspondence, enquiries on the manner of conduct of the Promotion and grant of the Prizes from any party whatsoever.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to change/ modify terms and conditions and/or criteria of the Promotion and / or the prize/s for the Promotion, at any time at their own discretion and without any prior notice and without assigning any reason.
  • The Organizer can withdraw or cancel the Promotion at any time for any reasons whatsoever and shall not be responsible or liable to any Participant in this regard.
  • This Promotion cannot be combined/availed off along with any other offer from the Organizer.
  • The Organizer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, theft, or any other mishap caused to the Prize(s) after handing over the same to the Winner or his/ her assign(s).
  • The decision of the Organizer in connection with the Promotion will be final & binding and is non-contestable.
  • The Organizer shall not be responsible for the quality, fitness, merchantability, defect or deficiency etc. of the Prize/s and no claim or request, whatsoever, in this respect shall be entertained by the Organizer.
  • Apart from the entitlement to the Prize/s, the Winner or his/her legal heirs will have no other rights or claims against the Organizer.
  • Participation in the promotion implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Promotion. Acceptance of the Prize/s constitutes permission for Organizer, and its affiliates to click photographs and use the Winner's/ Loser's name, photographs, likeness, voice and comments for advertising and promotional purposes in any media worldwide for purposes of advertising and trade without any additional compensation whatsoever
  • Any disputes and differences in connection with the promotion shall be subject to jurisdiction of competent Court/s at Mumbai alone.
