He is the vocal force behind the popular Pakistani band Fuzon. Born out of diverse western pop/rock and eastern classical influences, his sound encompasses hybrid styles of exquisite melodies and everlasting pop/rock instrumentation. His style can be described as fusing deeply meditative ragas with rock and jazz.

Shafqat's claim to fame is "Mora Saiyaan (Khamaj)" and "Tere Bina" from HYDERABAD BLUES 2, "Mitwa" from the KANK and "Yeh Honsla" from the film DOR.
