Akon, Tupac and Bobby Brown were put to shame
Rapper Tupac had always been in the limelight for his attitude and short temper. Though he died at the age of 25, he was one of the most influential rappers. Tupac who was slated to star in the movie ‘Meance II’ punched the director Allen Hughes on a video set. Thereafter, he was sentenced to a 15-day jail term on the 10 May, 1994.
Bobby Brown was arrested on 10 May, 2000 when he was dining with his wife Whitney Houston at the Newark Airport. He was arrested because he violated his probation period from an earlier drunk driving conviction. He had been wanted in Florida since 1999 when his probation officer reported that a urine test proved positive for cocaine use.
R & B Singer Akon’s raunchy dance video with a teenage girl at a Trinidad concert on 12 April, 2007 went viral on the Internet. It was later reported that the girl was only fourteen. Akon had to apologize to the girl and her family on 10 May, 2007 since he had no idea that the girl was underage. He said: "I want to sincerely apologize for the embarrassment and any pain I've caused to the young woman who joined me on stage, her family and the Trinidad community for the events at my concert."
