Unfortunately, the long term rivalry between the east and west coast artists had to flourish at the time of his burgeoning influence in hip–hop music. 

May be, his anti-racist attitude came from his parents who were both members of the Black Panther Party, but when his obsession for conflict took him to the edge and beyond. This day in music, Tupac Shakur was shot five times outside his studio; while he survived the onslaught, he succumbed to a second attack in Las Vegas that took his life.
Albums such as, 2 Pacalypse Now, Pac's Life and Until the End of Time will be remembered for awhile and may also be taught in poetry classes in the times to come, till then we might just remember him as just another immortal in music history.
